Disco Chip Treats
Sorry Rice Krispies, there’s a new kid in town.
Salty.
Sweet.
Crisp and melty.
Not to mention alllll kinds of pretty.
These Disco Chips have everything you could ask for in a fun little treat.
here’s what you’ll need
5 cups Ruffles Original potato chips (lightly crushed, but not crumbled)
5 cups mini marshmallows
3 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
4 oz dark chocolate, melted
1/4 cup rainbow sprinkles
a pinch of Maldon sea salt flakes
here’s what you’ll need to do
Line a deep sided pan with lightly greased parchment paper.
Good To Know: We use a 9x6 pan so we can get a little more height on our treats, but a 9x9 pan would work great, too.
Melt butter in a large pot over medium-low heat.
Add marshmallows and vanilla.
Stir until fully melted and smooth.
Remove pot from heat and gently fold in your chips and sprinkles until evenly coated.
Place mix into your prepared pan and lightly press down with a piece of parchment paper to get a smooth(ish), flat top.
Drizzle the top of your treats with melted chocolate, and sprinkle with sea salt flakes.
Allow to cool until the chocolate is set.
Cut into squares, and enjoy!
