Are you ready for some football?!
Then you definitely need these Garlic Hoisin Meatballs (inspired by Gimme Some Oven) in your life.
Serve them straight up or with a pile of white rice.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound ground pork
- 1 cup panko
- 2 eggs
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- Green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2/3 cup hoisin
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp water
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Step 2
Add ground beef, ground pork, panko, eggs, 3 garlic cloves, 1/2 cup green onions, 2 teaspoons sesame oil, and a healthy pinch of salt and pepper to a bowl to make meatball mix.
Step 3
Roll mix into balls and place on a baking sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Step 4
Meanwhile, simmer hoisin, rice vinegar, 2 garlic cloves, soy sauce, 1 teaspoon sesame oil, ground ginger and cornstarch slurry (equal parts cornstarch and water) in a sauce pan over medium heat for a couple minutes until sauce thickens and warms through.
Step 5
After ten minutes, flip your meatballs and baste the tops with your thickened sauce.
Bake for another ten minutes, or until cooked through.
Step 6
Toss meatballs with remaining sauce and serve garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.
