3 Awesome Juice Recipes
Have I always had an appreciation for juice?
I mean, I guess.
But it wasn’t until we’d come skipping out of jungle hikes, dripping sweat, that I’d find myself craving some fresh-squeezed over ice.
So maybe my obsession with our new juicer is a way to take me back to those magical moments on the islands, but I gotta say it feels awfully nice to open our fridge to a big bowl of the good stuff on any given day.

These juices are best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in airtight containers in the refrigerator if you want them to last a couple days. Just make sure to give them a good shake shake shake before digging in.
As always, thoroughly wash your fruits, veggies and otherwise before juicing.
Ingredients and quantities can be adjusted to suit your personal tastes and needs.
Wellness Juice
here’s what you’ll need
1 apple
1 lemon, peeled
1 inch of ginger
a drizzle of honey
1 tsp turmeric
a pinch of black pepper
Beet Juice
here’s what you’ll need
2 beets, roasted, cooled and peeled
2 apples
3 carrots
1 lemon, peeled
Pineapple Ginger Juice
here’s what you’ll need
2 oranges, peeled
1 cup of pineapple chunks
4 carrots
1 inch of ginger
