Burger Dip

Burger Dip

Dinner doesn’t get any easier than this.

Inspired by a snack we used to grab at one of our favorite taverns during our time in Tacoma, these little baby Burger Dips can be ready in less than 15 minutes and will have you drooling before you even dig in.

here’s what you’ll need

here’s what you’ll need to do

Preheat griddle to medium high heat.

Make au jus according to package directions.

Form ground beef into equal sized balls (you can get about 8 little burgers out of one pound of ground beef).
Place burger balls on your lightly oiled, preheated griddle and give them a good smash.
Season with salt and pepper, and allow to cook for 2 to 3 minutes, or until a nice crust develops.
Flip patties to continue cooking for another minute or two, or until burgers are cooked through.
Add a slice of Swiss cheese to the top of the burger so it can get all nice and melty.

Split your rolls in half and slather with butter.
Place rolls on the griddle and toast until golden and delicious. This should only take a few seconds.

Serve burger patties between your toasted rolls with a generous smear of mayo.

No matter how you feel about mayo on burgers, pah-lease don’t skip the mayo or use a different condiment because I SWEAR it really makes these.

Dip burger in au jus before every bite, and enjoy!
