Salmon Sliders with Strawberry Salsa

Salmon Sliders with Strawberry Salsa

These Salmon Sliders made with Trident Seafood’s salmon burger patties (from Costco) and a Strawberry Salsa are the perfect quick, fresh and flavorful warm weather treat.

here’s what you’ll need

  • Trident Seafood salmon burger patties

  • King’s Hawaiian slider buns

  • avocado, sliced

  • pesto

  • microgreens

  • 2 cups strawberries, chopped

  • 1 jalapeno, chopped

  • 1/4 red onion, chopped

  • 1/2 lime, juiced

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

  • salt

  • peppy

here’s what you’ll need to do

Cook salmon patties according to package directions.

Meanwhile, make your strawberry salsa by combining strawberries, jalapeño, red onion, a squeeze of lime, a squirt of of olive oil and a pttth of honey.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Good to know: This salsa doesn’t hold up as long or as well as my pineapple salsa, so I really only try to make as much as I’m going to be using to top the burgers.

Once your salmon patties are cooked through, cut them into thirds.

Toast your buns and it’s time to assemble!
I like mine to go: bottom bun, a generous smear of pesto, avocado, salmon patty, strawberry salsa, micro greens, top bun.

Whee!
